ABOUT US
Dr. Joel Schroeder graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1980. He has been practicing general dentistry in Lake Placid for the past 31 years.
Prior to practicing dentistry in Lake Placid, Dr. Schroeder had the
opportunity to serve patients in Colorado and the Sarasota, Florida
area. Dr. Schroeder worked with a wide variety of patients and other
dentists and specialists. His experience and considerable continuing
education contributes to delivering quality dentistry.
Dr. Schroeder emphasizes the golden rule in his practice. He strives to
treat his patients like he would like to be treated. Dr Schroeder
believes in providing the best dentistry possible but giving the patient
different options and taking financial concerns into consideration. Dr.
Schroeder is proud to have served the residents of the the Lake Placid
area and believes the people here are the best.

Kathy Schroeder
Office Manager
Kathy has been practicing in the dental field for 35 years. She is a certified Dental Radiolographer, assists in an arrary of dental procedures, coordinates appointment scheduling and oversees financial arrangements. She works hard to assure that things run seamlessly for our staff and patients. Don’t be surprised if she greets you by name as you step in the door!
Kimberly Beasley
Dental Assistant
Kimberly at the age of 16 began working part-time during high school, learning everything she could about the sterilization process and secretarial office management. She also, attained her expanded duties , BLS training and Dental Radiography certifications for the State of Florida. Kimberly has over 30 years of experience assisting; not only in General Dentistry, but also in Surgical Periodontics and Implant Procedures. There is rarely a time that you do not see her in a great mood. Her smile is infectious!
Barbara Sewell
Registered Dental Hygienist
Barbara was born in Puerto Rico, but raised a Florida girl. She recieved her Dental Hygiene Associate in Science at the Tallahasee Community College and has been practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2010. In 2015 she received her license from the Florida Board of Dentistry to Adminster Local Anesthetic for an array of dental and surgical procedures. Barbara on her spare time assists with Information Technology issues that may arise and manages the Media Maketing Department.
